PROMOTE!  PROMOTE!  PROMOTE!

So you've written a most interesting and entertaining book, right? A real bestseller, right? A book in the category of a Danielle Steel novel or a James Patterson novel, right? THAT'S GREAT NEWS, right?  No? Aren't your sales up to expectations? Aren't readers and buyers flocking to buy your book? Maybe you should ask yourself some important questions. Questions such as: Am I promoting my book enough? Is my promotion effective? Am I reaching the right people with my promotion?

I read recently a couple of interesting quotes regarding promotion:

         1. “If you don't toot your own horn, don't complain that there's no music.”
~ Guy Kawasaki, Enchantment: The Art of Changing Hearts, Minds, and Actions
        2. “You can write the most wonderful book in the world. But if people don’t know about your book
they won’t know to buy it.”

~ Madi Preda, How To Promote and Market Your Book

I would be willing to bet that I tried just about every suggested method of promotion that has been written on the subject. You name it, I probably tried it. Some worked for me, others did not. You've probably been down that road yourself. Connecting with other writers isn't really helpful -  they're understandably busy promoting their own books. Most social media outlets reach many more non-readers than actual readers. What you need are actual READERS who are really  interested in finding more good books to read.

So how do you reach readers and announce your book to them? Well, I believe I can be of help to you in this area. I am launching another distribution program for my latest novel and I am offering to a limited number of authors  the opportunity to  place an announcement about your book in the pages of my novel. Imagine! YOUR BOOK being promoted in MY BOOK to actual READERS! What could be better? How could you reach real readers any better way?

Reserve YOUR spot now - don't wait until all available spots have been taken. You can place your reservation now and pay it out if you wish. No finance charges or additional fees. I would suggest that you start by placing your promo in 1,000 copies - you can always reserve additional space as the promotion goes on. And you can choose the location for your promo placement. I'll even help you lay it out if you would like.

You can reserve a spot at the end of a chapter. There are also five whole pages at the end of the book, as well as inside the front cover. And REMEMBER - Your promos will be SEEN BY ACTUAL READERS as they read my book. You just can't beg, borrow or steal publicity like that.
